Ruby: at shelter

Ruby is one of our favorites! She was brought to us by the family who said they had found her, but the brand new crate, the toys, and even the name made us think otherwise! She is a social, active young lady, and is begging for someone to please spend time training her. She wants to please, and wants to be a beloved family dog. She loves to run and play hard, and for her to fit into a home with another Dog some guidance might be needed as far as helping her learn to interact appropriately. Her background was probably one of lack of structure, and we feel she was probably given to a family of young children who had no clue what to do with her. Dogs like Ruby want someone to train them. Ruby will prosper in a home where positive reinforcement is the method of training, because she is so smart, so adaptable, and so willing to learn.
