Albert is a sweet 3-year-old neutered boy who may need a little time and patience to feel comfortable, but once he does, his gentle and affectionate personality begins to shine. He enjoys taking his time to sniff around, and he seems especially happy when he can simply relax and take a break from the busy shelter environment. One thing that quickly becomes clear is that Albert loves affection. He takes treats very nicely and has even curled up on his handler’s lap while still in his kennel. Once comfortable, he has a soft, relaxed body and happily accepts belly rubs.In the play yard, he frequently rested his head on his handler’s lap and rolled over for belly rubs. These quiet moments seem to be when Albert really lets his sweet personality come through. Albert also appears interested in other dogs. When he saw dogs through the fence, he approached with a relaxed, soft body and friendly tail wags. He may enjoy having canine friends, though proper introductions would be important.Albert could be a wonderful match for someone who understands that the best relationships take time.
