Description
Foster or Forever Home Wanted — Meet Ripley! That smile? It’s 100% Ripley. Ripley is a young black pup with what appears to be a birth defect similar to a cleft lip on the side of her mouth. It doesn’t affect her eating or drinking one bit—in fact, we think it just gives her the cutest permanent smile to match her sweet personality! Ripley arrived at the San Bernardino shelter as a stray on 7/8 with her sister, who was adopted on 7/18. Sadly, Ripley was left behind. Between an overcrowded shelter, being a black dog, and having a unique appearance, we knew the odds were stacking up against her. So when we heard how incredibly sweet she was, we couldn’t leave her behind and welcomed her into the Labradors and Friends family. And so far? Our volunteers are RAVING about this girl! Ripley is sweet, affectionate, playful, and full of that happy, bouncy young-dog energy. She’s still working on her leash skills and basic manners when out and about, but she’s eager, fun, and has so much potential. Ripley is still new to us, so we’re continuing to learn more about this happy girl. But one thing is already clear—there’s a whole lot to love behind that unforgettable smile. Interested in fostering or adopting Ripley? Fill out an application at www.labradorsandfriends.org. Ripley is located in Southern California.
