Description

Tripoli is a 2-year-old spayed female Australian Cattle Dog mix who iscurrently enrolled in the `People Are Probably Okay` portion of hereducation. She came into the shelter with another dog, but her roommatequickly got adopted, leaving Tripoli to continue her journey towardconfidence on her own.Tripoli is in our Shy Dog Program, where she is slowly learning that theworld isn`t actually one giant scary place. New people and new situationscan still make her nervous, so she`s looking for a patient home thatunderstands that trust takes time. She may need a little convincing thatyou`re not secretly plotting something terrible-like giving her a bath.Once Tripoli decides you`re one of the good ones, though, her affectionateside comes out, and you`ll discover the sweet girl hiding behind that shyexterior. She doesn`t seem particularly interested in making dog friends,despite arriving with another dog, so she may be perfectly happy keeping hersocial circle small.Tripoli isn`t looking for a home that expects instant friendship. She`slooking for someone who will give her time, patience, and a safe place toblossom.
