Description
We need your help to find Charm a very special home. Charm came to us from a local shelter with a badly deformed front leg. There was no way to save it and so now she is a tri-pod! Charm is a sweetheart but she is very shy. She is wonderful with dogs and cats and really needs to find a forever home with a dog friend. Dogs give her confidence and she needs her own emotional support dog to be happy. Charm finds people to be very scary. Her go-to response is to sort of melt into a puddle on the floor and cringe when she gets scared. I do not know what you have to do to make a dog that scared but it's heartbreaking to watch. When Charm gets outside with another dog her whole personality changes. She loves to run and play in the yard with a dog friend. She is fast for a 3 legger! Charm is so happy when she has a dog friend to play with. Charm has not found her perfect home because she is so shy initially. Most people want to adopt a dog who is going to bounce through the front dog, jump in their arms, give them a hug and say, "I love you" and Charm just won't do that. Charm goes into a new place and sort of melts into the floor. She does not need to be crated because she will hide on her dog bed. She is crate and house trained. She does not get into things. She also barely makes any noise. Once she is comfortable she might venture over to the couch but it takes her a long time. Charm's ideal home would be one with a dog friend or two to give her confidence and one that does not have many stairs. She lost her front leg so she can do a few stairs but more than a few are a challenge for her. Charm would be fine in a home with cats and kids. She just needs a forever home that will understand that she needs time. Thank you for taking the time to read about Charm.
