Meet Larry — Chucklehead Marshmallow - Big sweet - Lap sitter, lover, so sweet. SO Grateful as saved from horrible life and Healed from Much Trauma.  -- NEW Foster and or Final Adoptive Home Needed ASAP! Poor Larry has been through more than most cats ever should… and somehow, he’s come out of it as one of the sweetest, most loving LAP cats you’ll ever meet. Larry was brought to a south Atlanta neighborhood as a kitten… and then simply tossed out the door. From there, he survived on his own—scavenging for food, competing with feral cats, and enduring the brutal heat, cold, and everything in between. Kind community feral cat feeders knew him and did what they could, but life was hard. Then one day, everything changed! A compassionate woman noticed Larry with a horrific facial wound—his cheek was badly torn and hanging (OMG) and we think is orbital bone was fractured on one eye. She immediately trapped him and got him to DeKalb Animal Services. They did initial treatment, but Larry needed more vet care and a place outside the shelter. A Welcome Home Animal Rescue (AWHAR) we went to work on getting the best care around! (Ansley Animal Clinic). Larry had proper veterinary care, medications, full vaccinations, and eventually neutered him once he was stable and he is now HEALED.  His trauma has left him with a couple of funny features such as a crooked smile and a a bit of a facelift to one eye :) but it just gives him more unique character. Afterall he is JUST A CAT! SO glad that we saved LARRY; he pays us back every day with LOVE! Also, he is FIV positive, but fully healthy otherwise and FIV cats can live long happy healthy lives if kept inside.  And Now… Meet the NEW Larry! Today, Larry is thriving. He may have a few scars (we like to call them character lines ), but honestly, it just makes him look distinguished—like he’s had a tiny feline facelift!    WE WILL GUARANTEE HIS HEALTH. Also, bloodwork was excellent, and his mouth and dental care are fantastic.  We GUARANTEE HIS HEALTH.  GETS A DENTAL NEXT WEEK. LARRY JUST WANTS TO BE LOVED!! CAN YOU BE HIS PERSON?
