    Davey A. Void spent quite a while living up to his name — specifically the “avoid” part. This clever little street cat managed to avoid being trapped for what seemed like forever, staying one step ahead while charming everyone from a safe distance. But eventually, curiosity (and probably Churus) won him over, and now this 9-month-old black velvet boy is learning that indoor life is actually pretty amazing. With his thick, plush fur, giant bright eyes, and tiny hidden white patch on his belly, Davey is the definition of a classic “black void” cat. He’s curious, gentle, and fantastic with other cats. While he can still be a little cautious with people at first, he absolutely adores head and neck scratches once he feels safe, and his tiny squeaky meow is guaranteed to make you smile — especially when he’s politely requesting soft food. Wand toys bring out his goofy and acrobatic side, Churus are his greatest weakness, and every day he gets a little more confident and affectionate. Davey spent a long time avoiding capture, but now he’s ready to stop all that avoiding and finally melt in the love he is finding in humans. Now he just needs to find a forever home of his own.
