Sandwich is a one-year-old bundle of energy, fun, and cuddles! This active girl loves to go, go, go. She does well on walks and is always ready for her next adventure. She especially enjoys patrolling the yard and would happily spend as much time outside as possible. With all that energy, Sandwich would thrive in an active home where she can get plenty of exercise, playtime, and opportunities to explore. After a good romp outside, she’s more than happy to settle down and relax. Sandwich is house-trained and sleeps wonderfully in her kennel all night. She’s also a big fan of chew toys and stuffies—although her stuffies don’t tend to last very long! She’s a self-proclaimed expert shoe thief, so keeping footwear out of reach is probably a good idea. When the day winds down, Sandwich shows off her softer side. She loves pets, snuggles, and being close to her people. She firmly believes she’s a lap dog, and with her incredibly soft fur, she may have a point! Sandwich will need slow, patient introductions when meeting other dogs. She really wants to play, but she’s still learning how to read and respect their cues. She’ll do best with people who are willing to give her time to get comfortable and help her learn appropriate play manners. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, energetic companion who will keep you laughing, keep you active, and happily snuggle up with you at the end of the day, Sandwich might just be your girl!               Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, dental, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
