Meet this  sweet grey tabby girl named Coconut . She is a gentle explorer with a cautious heart. She likes to take her time warming up, approaching new people and places at her own pace. But once she decides she’s ready, she’ll come close with soft confidence, happily leaning in for pets and soaking up affection. Around her kitten friends, she can be surprisingly silly—pouncing, chasing, and joining in on their playful antics. She loves to explore cozy corners, climb to new vantage points, and enjoys her favorite treat: churros, which she eats with adorable enthusiasm. With patience and love, she blossoms into a warm, curious, and delightfully playful companion. Adoptions are generally limited to an approximately 150-mile radius of Jonesboro, Georgia. Exceptions may be considered under certain circumstances. To apply to adopt, please complete our Preliminary Adoption Application. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting. It allows us to determine whether the pet is a good match for your home and family. As part of the approval process, we verify the veterinary history of current and previous pets, including annual vaccinations and spay/neuter status. Please contact your veterinarian in advance and authorize them to release this information to Clayton County Humane Society. The adoption fee for all cats is $125. Each cat receives: Age-appropriate vaccinations Spay or neuter surgery FeLV/FIV testing Deworming Flea prevention A microchip registered to the adopter You must have an approved application before scheduling a meeting with a pet.
