Description

Clermont est un magnifique chat mâle senior d’environ 10 ans, un tigré roux pâle au regard doux. Il a été retrouvé errant dans le quartier de Pointe-aux-Trembles en septembre dernier.  Une personne bienveillante l’a recueilli et lui a offert un foyer temporaire pendant plusieurs mois, dans l’espoir de lui trouver une famille… mais sans succès. Elle nous l’a finalement confié en janvier 2026 afin que nous puissions l’aider à trouver le foyer qu’il mérite. Grâce à cette bonne âme, Clermont a pu recevoir les soins dentaires dont il avait besoin, incluant plusieurs extractions en octobre 2025. Comme plusieurs chats de son âge et étant VIF, il est possible qu’il ait à nouveau besoin de soins dentaires dans le futur. Sa future famille devra donc rester attentive à sa santé buccale et poursuivre les suivis vétérinaires au besoin afin de lui assurer le meilleur confort possible. Clermont est un chat très tranquille, qui apprécie avant tout la paix et la douceur du quotidien. Il passe la majorité de son temps à dormir paisiblement près de ses compagnons félins. Discret, calme et observateur, il aime simplement être présent et profiter d’un environnement serein. Pour Clermont, nous recherchons un foyer calme, avec des humains doux et patients, peut être un ami félin calme et doux. Des enfants pourraient faire partie de sa future famille, tant qu’ils sont très calmes et respectueux de sa tranquillité. Nous ne savons pas encore comment Clermont réagirait face à la présence d’un chien. Toutefois, s’il devait partager son foyer avec un ami canin, celui-ci devrait être très doux, calme et capable de respecter la bulle d’un chat. Clermont rêve maintenant de trouver un foyer paisible où il pourra vivre à son rythme et profiter d’une retraite bien méritée. Clermont est un chat senior, donc les frais d'adoption pour lui sont de 175$. Il est stérilisé, vacciné et  micropucé. Il est positif pour  le virus de l'immunodéficience féline (VIF), mais négatif pour la leucose féline (FeLV). Bien qu'il soit porteur du VIF, les risques de transmettre le virus à un autre chat sont minimes. He was found wandering in the Pointe-aux-Trembles neighborhood last September. A kind person took him in and offered him a temporary home for several months, hoping to find him a family… but without success. She finally entrusted him to us in January 2026 so that we could help him find the home he deserves. Thanks to this kind soul, Clermont was able to receive the dental care he needed, including several extractions in October 2025. Like many cats of his age and being FIV+, it is possible that he may need dental care again in the future. His future family will simply need to stay attentive to his oral health and continue veterinary follow-ups as needed to ensure his best possible comfort. Clermont is a very quiet cat who, above all, appreciates the peace and gentleness of daily life. He spends the majority of his time sleeping peacefully near his feline companions. Discreet, calm, and observant, he simply likes to be present and enjoy a serene environment. For Clermont, we are looking for a calm home with gentle and patient humans, and perhaps a calm, gentle feline friend. Children could be part of his future family, as long as they are very calm and respectful of his tranquility. We do not yet know how Clermont would react to the presence of a dog. However, if he were to share his home with a canine friend, the dog would need to be very gentle, calm, and able to respect a cat's personal space. Clermont is now dreaming of finding a peaceful home where he can live at his own pace and enjoy a well-deserved retirement. Clermont is a senior cat, so his adoption fee is $175. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) but negative for Feline Leukemia (FeLV). Although he carries FIV, the risk of transmitting the virus to another cat is very low. He is in good health and can still live a long and happy life.
