Description
Little Lulu - Spaniel / Terrier Mix *Update: 9/04* Lulu is the sweetest girl, who would be a great work from home companion or someone who wants a snuggly side kick. For a puppy/young dog she is very calm inside the home. She likes to run around and jump when excited and likes to play outside, but then she will settle for some love. She was around a mix of dogs at her previous home and played well and got along with them, she also was exposed to chickens. Slow proper introductions are always needed as dogs decompress and adjust to their new surroundings. She is a little shy and unsure of new things and people currently but with someone calm leading the way, she has quickly learned things aren't so scary. She is nervous in the car, but we are working on short drives in the front seat/pet seat and she is doing well. She walks fairly well on leash and would be a great walking partner! Lulu is crate trained and sleeps through the night in her crate She is potty trained with a consistent routine, with occasional accidents after rough playing or extended periods of being free roam. She knows how Sit, seems to understand "wait" and takes treats gently. At her current foster home with 3 young kids (4,6,8) she is unsure of the new noises and quick movements, but observes from a far and will sniff nicely and will take an occasional treat from them gently. With proper slow and respectful introductions, she would likely love and do well with school aged / respectful children in a home. Lulu is a great girl who just wants someone to show her the way and she will love you back! ______________________ Little LuLu is the true runt of the litter. At ten days old, she weighed in at just .20 lbs! We weren't sure she was going to make it for awhile there, but after some time of supplement feeding and extra doses of love, she grew in size and personality. She is still the smallest of the bunch! She is a spunky little girl who really gives her other siblings a run for their money! She loves romping around with them, tugging and chasing the laser pointer. But she also loves soaking up love! The adoption fee is $400, which covers vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
