Description
Hi I'm Willy I was born on 12/2/25, weigh about 20 pounds, and I’m pretty much done growing. I came into rescue with my four siblings. One by one, I watched them all find their forever families. I was so happy for them… but I couldn’t help wondering, “When will it be MY turn?” For a little while, I thought my turn had finally come. Someone adopted me, and I thought I had found my forever. But just three months later, I was returned… because I have anxiety. You see, I didn’t always know what love felt like. I knew what it was like to be scared, to live on the streets, and to wonder where my next meal would come from. I knew what it was like to curl up and sleep on cold, hard ground with no shelter. And sometimes, even when I’m safe, my little heart still remembers those scary days. I wasn’t trying to be difficult. I was just scared. Being returned broke a little piece of the trust I was learning to have. I’ve been back with my foster mommy since May. She loves me so much, but she knows there’s a family out there that is supposed to be mine. And I promise, I have SO much love to give. I love playing with other dogs, but my favorite thing is curling up in someone’s lap and being petted. I get SO excited when my people come home because, to me, they’re my whole world. I even love sleeping under the covers beside you, especially on cold nights. I would do best in a home with other dogs and someone who enjoys having a little shadow by their side. I know I’m not perfect. I have fears. I have a past. And I might need a little extra patience. But doesn’t everyone deserve to be loved, even when they’re scared? I’m not asking for a perfect home. I’m just asking for someone who won’t give up on me when things get hard. Someone who will hold me when I’m afraid. Someone who will teach me that love doesn’t have to end. Someone who will finally choose ME… and KEEP choosing me.
