Poquito

Description

UPDATE!!✨ FROM LIVING UNDER A SHED TO WAITING FOR A FOREVER HOME! Meet Poquito! This handsome boy and his siblings had quite the start to life. A Good Samaritan discovered them living underneath a shed, and when one of our volunteers went out to capture them, two more siblings AND their sweet momma were found! ❤️ Thankfully, Wags and Whiskers and Misfits out of Mississippi worked together to get this entire little family to safety before the last freeze. We secured a foster for all six babies, while Misfits took in their beautiful momma, who is available for adoption through their rescue. Most of the litter has gone on to find their forever homes, but Poquito and his brother Papi are still waiting for families of their very own! ❤️ Poquito is approximately 6–8 months old and 30–35ish lbs. We believe he will likely top out around 40–45 lbs. He’s playful, sweet, and loves spending time outdoors. He’s great with other animals and kids and would make a wonderful addition to a family ready to give him the love, attention, and continued training every young pup deserves. Poquito has come such a long way from being found underneath a shed. Now he just needs the final piece of his story—a family of his very own! ❤️ He is UTD, altered, and ready for his forever home! ✨ Poquito has watched several of his siblings find their families, and now we want to see him get his turn! Get your application in and help us find this sweet boy the forever home he deserves! Our adoptions are NOT first come, first served, and there is no fee to apply! We never state that any animal is fully house-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, etc. can lead to accidents, even with the most well-trained animals. DOG ADOPTION FEE: $195 The adoption fee includes a vet check, age-appropriate vaccines (at least 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm testing if over 6 months, rabies vaccine if at least 16 weeks old, and spay/neuter. Wags and Whiskers is an all-volunteer rescue. Please allow us time to respond to all inquiries and applications. Thank you for your patience and support! ❤️ LET’S GET POQUITO HOME! APPLY TODAY!
