About Star: Star is a sweet, low-key girl who likes a quiet home. While she can be a little skittish at first, once she is comfortable she is very affectionate and will often come ask for play and pats throughout the day. She loves attacking toys through her tunnel, and feet under blankets--and if she knows it's you on the other side, she's very mindful of her claws. When it comes to mealtime, she'll chat up a storm so you know exactly how hungry she is! She tolerates grooming and nail trims well, sometimes growling but never scratching. She doesn't particularly enjoy being picked up, but will accept it if she has to, and will gently let you know when she wants to get down before struggling. She is learning to enjoy lap time and will sometimes jump up on her own if there's a larger surface to be on like a couch or a bed, though she’s usually happiest just sitting nearby. Star has done well with other cats and has been great with guests in our home, showing that she can warm up to respectful people who take the time to build trust with her. And given that she doesn't knock things off counters, she's quite worthy of trust herself! The fee to adopt Star is $200 ($325 for two kittens). This covers the cost of her spay, vaccines appropriate for her age, the collar she’s wearing, and her care in foster.
