Helen's world may look a little different than most dogs', because she is blind and hard of hearing. You might see her stumble from time to time as she figures things out, but what she lacks in eyesight she more than makes up for with resilience, affection, and a heart full of love. Most importantly, Helen is now safe, secure, and finally receiving the care and attention she deserves. This gentle girl absolutely adores people and loves being close to her humans. Whether you're relaxing at home, heading out on an adventure, or taking a drive through the countryside, Helen wants to be right there with you. In fact, one of her favorite things in the world is riding in the car! Just mention a road trip, and she's ready to go. Helen gets along wonderfully with other dogs, is doing great with pottying outside, and has a calm, affectionate personality that makes everyone who meets her fall in love. She would thrive in a home with someone who has plenty of time to spend with her, perhaps a retiree, work-from-home companion, or anyone looking for a loyal shadow to share their days.
