Papi

Description

UPDATE!!✨ PAPI’S READY TO TRADE FOSTER LIFE FOR FOREVER! Meet Papi! This handsome boy’s story started underneath a shed, where a Good Samaritan discovered what was initially thought to be a small litter of puppies. When a volunteer went out to help, two more babies and their sweet momma were discovered, bringing the total to six puppies! With some teamwork between Wags and Whiskers and Misfits out of Mississippi, the entire family was safely captured and placed into foster care before the last freeze. Misfits welcomed Momma into their rescue, while we found a foster willing to take on all six of her babies. ❤️ Fast forward to today, and most of the litter has found their forever homes! Papi and his brother Poquito are the two boys still waiting for their turn. Papi is now approximately 6–8 months old and 30–35ish lbs. We expect him to top out around 40–45 lbs. He’s a fun, playful boy with a sweet personality who loves being outside! He does great with kids and other animals and would love a family who will include him in their adventures while continuing to give him the training and guidance every young dog needs. This boy went from living underneath a shed and facing the cold to being safe, loved, and completely vetted. Now we just need to finish his story with the one thing foster care can’t replace—a forever family of his very own. Papi is UTD, altered, and ready to go HOME! ❤️ ✨ Could Papi be the missing piece of your family? Get your application in and give this deserving boy the happily-ever-after he’s been waiting for! Our adoptions are NOT first come, first served, and there is no fee to apply! We never state that any animal is fully house-trained. New environments, situations, families, routines, etc. can lead to accidents, even with the most well-trained animals.
