Venus

Description

Animal Information: Venus is a female German Shepherd/Malinois mix. Venus is the roman goddess of love. She was found as a stray with her mom and 9 siblings. She had been at the Devore animal shelter for 2 weeks and was on the euth list due to space. Thanks to a Seattle area foster stepping up to take the family in, they were all saved. We will share more about Venus her mom and siblings as they settle in. Foster Profile: Venus is a beautiful nearly 10-month-old Aussie/German Shepherd/Malinois mix, weighing currently 44 pounds. She’s smart, athletic, playful, social, and full of personality. She is always ready for an adventure or a good game, and she absolutely loves swimming and dock diving! Venus is dog-friendly, kid friendly, highly food-motivated, potty and crate trained, and loves being with her people and learning new things. She’s also energetic, mouthy, and has opinions.  She’s very much still a puppy in her teenage era and is continuing to learn how to channel all that energy. Venus thrives with structure, consistency, boundaries, and continued training. She loves being near her people but isn’t a cuddly pup—she’s more of a “hang out close by” kind of girl. A securely fenced yard and an active, breed-savvy home are preferred. Kids that are 10 and up will do best with this energetic girl. No apartments, please. Venus is a fun, loyal, incredibly smart, smiley girl who will make an amazing adventure buddy for the right home!  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
