Description

Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet, SC Weight: 14.8 lbs Height: 10.5 in at the shoulder Spayed/Neutered: No Adoption Fee: $499 Fence needed? No.  Millie has been in a foster home with one of our caregivers and she has learned the joys of suburbia.  Leash walks are now fun!  She loves to get out and about on the town and see new sights and visit friends new and old. Want To Know More About Me? Text Millie to 864-441-9075 for my full story and photos - we'll send everything you need to know! Here's Your Quick Peek: After years of raising puppies, Millie is finally ready to be someone’s baby. This affectionate little poodle is learning how wonderful life can be as a cherished family dog.  She has mastered sleeping in the big bed, she has mastered cuddles and she loves car rides.  She loves being with her people.  She loves food and she wants to give her whole heart to someone and in return, she will take good care of yours.   Please note - if you want to skip the text and go straight to the application, you can find the link here: www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/application/ Must have: Sleeping with her owner is a must.   Exercise: Daily walks, playtime and opportunities to explore the world.   Best with: A quiet home (kids ok if they are quiet kids) and family or single person or couple who is home more than they are aware. She would love a retiree or a work from homeowner.  She would thrive with a calm, confident dog companion and be a good friend but does not have to have one.  She is not a player in the sense of tug toys or any toy (for some reason she is not a fan of toys) or wrestling sessions with a canine friend.  If she were human, she would be a great bridge partner, not someone out climbing mountains.   Not ideal for: A home with lots of chaos.  Millie wants things organized.  Energy level: Moderate Millie is sweet, affectionate and eager to be close to her people. New sounds and unfamiliar experiences can still surprise her, but with patience, positive experiences and the reassurance of her person, her confidence continues to grow.   Good with dogs: Yes.  As Millie has gained confidence, she has gotten sassy!  She is great with her small dog buddies and will co-exist with peaceful, calm large dogs.   Good with kids: We don't think kids under 10 are a good idea unless they are calm kids.  Cats: Millie's foster home has two cats.  Millie is very nonchalant about these new creatures in her life. She is a live and let live kind of girl when it comes to cats. Fun fact: Millie travels between her foster home and the Poodle Farm and is great in the car!
