This friendly little guy enjoys spending time with people and loves playing with other dogs. In his foster home, Nicky uses the doggie door reliably and has not had any accidents. He is also well behaved and non-destructive, so he can be trusted in the home without being crated. Nicky is a sensitive pup who may walk in circles when he feels nervous or overwhelmed. Crates can make him anxious, causing him to bark and become unsettled, so he will do best in a home where crating is not necessary. He walks nicely on a leash when wearing a secure harness; collars and slip leads are not recommended because they may cause him to pull. Nicky is looking for a patient, loving family who will give him the time and reassurance he needs to settle into his new surroundings. With kindness, understanding, and a predictable routine, this affectionate boy is sure to become a wonderful companion. If you have room in your heart and home for a gentle dog who simply needs a little extra patience, Nicky may be the perfect match for you.
