Arlo- see Buddy for pure red male doxie

Description

Arlo is 7-8 years young, 18 lbs. Long haired dachshund mix. He's been ok with other dogs. He can be sensitive in certain areas- he doesn't like baths, having his lower back touched, or being picked up just yet.  Be patient with him and he will warm up...don't push him to love you - let him come around in his own time.  Toss a yummy treat when greeting him in high upbeat voice and then move on. We don't know his back story - we rescued him from public shelter where he was at risk.  He used to hang with three large calm dogs in what we call "Miss Jose's Patio" and now has moved into our home and made new friends.....Sleeps in my office chair pushed up to my bedside.  Gently asks to be petted by petting you! He's been with u a long time - we would love to see him join a family where he will become very social, much loved and loving.
