Description
Jack is a beautiful 61 pound Carolina Dog–type mix, approximately 4-5 years old. He made quite the journey from Georgia up to NJ, and is enjoying the simple things while waiting for his forever home: sunny spots to stretch out in, bird watching, peaceful walks, and car rides where he can be a quiet, curious co-pilot. He’s a well- mannered gentleman; housebroken, loves his crate as a cozy safe space, and is happiest just being near his people, keeping them company. Unfortunately, Jack’s past left him with a few stories to tell. Before he was rescued, he was attacked by another dog over a nearby female in heat, and as a result needed reconstructive surgery on his eye. It looks a little different now, but it isn’t bothersome and only requires a few daily eye drops. Because of what happened Jack can be timid around other dogs, especially at first. He is not aggressive; just a bit shy and cautious and would do best in a calm, quiet home where he can feel safe and take his time settling in. Jack is great with all people including kids, but could benefit from an adult home without too much hustle and bustle. Jack is a loving, happy and trusting boy and he knows his person is out there! Jack is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines. His adoption fee is $415. So, what do you say?
