Some of you may remember this handsome boy. Ozzy, now Captain Ozzy, was adopted and had a loving home, but sadly, his owner has developed medical issues and is no longer physically able to care for him. “Ozzy is coming back to us through absolutely no fault of his own. ” His owner loved him and did the incredibly difficult thing of making sure Ozzy could return to QT Kittens, where he would be safe and cared for. Sometimes life changes in ways we simply can't control — and unfortunately, our pets are affected by those changes too. So now Captain Ozzy is ready for his next chapter. And let us tell you… this captain has quite the personality! MEET CAPTAIN OZZ Y Captain Ozzy is a confident, intelligent, curious, playful, adventurous, high-energy boy who loves attention, toys, food, treats, and having fun. He's got plenty of kitten-like energy and is always ready for his next adventure. He loves to run, climb, jump, explore, and play. His regular zoomies are part of his daily schedule, so he's looking for a family that can keep up with this energetic captain! He also loves interactive toys and enrichment, and needs a home where he has plenty to keep his busy mind and body occupied. And then there is Ozzy's very important rule about affection… Captain Ozzy LOVES pets and attention — until he doesn't. He will happily enjoy your love and affection, but when the captain decides he's had enough, you'd better listen to the captain! It's one of his adorable little quirks, and his new family must understand and respect his boundaries. CAPTAIN OZZY’s STORY  Why Is Captain Back?  (This part of Ozzy's story is important.) He was adopted. He had a home. He was and still is loved. But his owner has experienced medical issues and is no longer physically able to provide the care Ozzy needs. Ozzy did nothing wrong. He wasn't returned because of bad behavior. He wasn't returned because he wasn't loved (because Captain Ozzy’s mom still loves him to the moon and back). His owner simply reached a point where caring for him physically was no longer possible. And because they loved him enough to make sure he was safe, Ozzy came back to QT Kittens.  We know returning to the rescue can be confusing for a cat who already had a home, but Captain Ozzy is resilient, confident, and ready to find his next family. This time, we're hoping his new family will be the one that stays his family forever.
