Meet Fava! Fava is one of many bean-themed kittens who are up for adoption. Fava recently came back from a foster home who reports: `He is the sweetest! He's the first to come snuggle and just happy to sit on or near you. He was the first one to start purring. Super mellow, friendly, and has a somewhat fuzzier/softer coat than his also-all-black sister Chickpea.` Fava would do well in a variety of homes. Any resident animals should be introduced in a slow, thoughtful manner. To keep Fava, and our local wildlife safe, he should be indoors only moving forward.Fava is available for pre-adoption. Come meet him, fall in love and take him home after his neuter surgery. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
