Celadon (A120170) is an 8-year-old AK Husky x Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who weighed 83.5 pounds on intake (but is very overweight). 09/09/26 Celadon, previously Suki, is back at the shelter and looking for her new place to call home! She arrived at the shelter as a stray, and sadly, her family did not come for her. Celadon was seen by the shelter vet and started on a diet plan as she is quite chunky. Her ideal weight should be nearing 55 pounds. It is important that her new owner continues her on her diet and does routine weight checks to keep tabs on her progress! Shedding those pounds will help her joints as she continues to age. While at the shelter, Celadon has done well at keeping her kennel clean and tidy! We do not know her experience with children or the extent of her experience with other animals. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new people and animals to help set her up for success. Celadon is officially in her senior years and looking for a home to grow old in. If you are interested in meeting Celadon, please let us know! 07/30/22 Suki (previously Aggie) was surrendered to the shelter with incomplete paperwork. She was stated to be housebroken and good with children. Suki has been very vocal at the shelter and loves to sing! She is an energetic husky looking for an owner who can keep her out of trouble and well exercised! Suki has been friendly towards her animal tenders and would love to find her new forever home. If you are interested in meeting her please give the shelter a call!03/16/20 Aggie was returned to the shelter because the older female dog in the house could not accept a young frisky puppy! Per her family Aggie is housebroken, a little rough when playing, outgoing and friendly, affectionate, and rides well in the car. She is said to be very energetic and playful and needs a little more basic training. She cries when alone in a crate but could learn with time that she gets yummy things in the crate! Aggie would love a fun and active new family!
