Description

I am a 6 month old, 9lb Chihuahua mix. I can be a bit shy initally but I warm up so well! I am super silly and VERY affectionate once I open up. My owner got sick and thats how I ended up at the rescue! I am deaf but that actually has many benefits because I don't hear thunderstorms, doorbells, fireworks, vacuum cleaners and other things that can scare other dogs. I sleep very soundly and can be trained with hand signals. The rescue will be sending home a Deaf Dog Tip/Resources informational document with me to help set up my family for success. I may never hear you call my name. I may never hear you tell me I'm a good boy. But I'll see your smile. I'll feel your touch. I'll learn your hand signals. I'll recognize you when you walk into the room. And I'll know exactly what it means to be loved.
