Meet Precious! Precious is a sweet 10-year-old brown tabby with a heart full of love and a gentle soul to match. She may be a little older, but don’t let her age fool you—this lovely girl still has plenty of affection to give and is ready to spend her golden years being cherished by her forever family. Precious is the kind of kitty who will make a wonderful, loving companion. She’s hoping for a peaceful home where she can feel safe, comfortable, and most importantly, loved. All she asks is for someone to see what a special girl she is and give her the second chance she deserves.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
