A FUN & FRIENDLY FELLOW: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 39 lbs. Hi, I'm Duke! I came to Mostly Mutts after finding myself in need of a new home and family to love. I'm so grateful that Mostly Mutts was able to take me in and I am happy to be soaking up all the love from the volunteers. Now I'm ready to find a wonderful home of my own. Perhaps with you? I've been selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience off-site and am learning a lot! Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them so if you have a nice dog at home already, let's meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven't met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let's meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a handsome, happy, easygoing boy with a friendly and fun personality! I'm curious and sweet, and the volunteers think I'm going to make a great family dog. I was a little unsure of the bathtub and stood very still and a bit frozen for my shampoo and rinse, but once my feet were back on the floor, I quickly recovered and was back to my happy self. I got to go on a daytrip with a nice volunteer recently and she said that I was a "perfect gentleman," nicely watching all the kids play at the park and showing no reaction to all the dogs passing by, then I was "an absolute angel" at the coffee shop where I enjoyed a delicious pup cup. Check out the video of my fun adventures—then come meet me to see if I am your new furever family member! / Energy level: 5-7.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program, have learned the 'come' and 'drop it' commands and look forward to learning a lot more with my trainer! I'm a bit of a strong puller at times, but I am working on my leash skills. Check back soon to see what I've learned and let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts. / I have been having some accidents on the shelter schedule, but will be working on this in the off-site training program, so please ask about how it is going and help me perfect my potty manners. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love toys, the nice volunteers and getting gentle pets on my head! Once I'm settled into my new home with you, I'm sure we'll discover lots more things we will enjoy doing together. / Other than not being too sure of my shelter bath, I'm sure I wouldn't like it if I didn't get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I'm a fun and sweet dog looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I'm located in Kennesaw, Ga.
