Meet Socks! Socks is a sweet 10-year-old tabby who is ready to find the loving forever family he’s been waiting for. With his gentle personality and adorable tabby charm, Socks is the kind of kitty who would love nothing more than a cozy place to call home and a family to call his own. At 10 years old, Socks has entered his golden years, and he’s hoping they can be filled with comfort, companionship, and plenty of love. He doesn’t need anything fancy—just a safe home, a warm bed, and people who will appreciate what a special boy he is. Socks has so much love left to give and is ready to start the next chapter of his life. Sometimes the sweetest companions are the ones who have been waiting the longest.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
