Meet Cheddar! Say hello to Cheddar, a handsome 10-year-old black cat who is ready to find his forever home! With his sweet nature and friendly personality, Cheddar is the kind of kitty who would love nothing more than to have a family of his own to adore. At 10 years young, Cheddar has lots of love left to give. He’s hoping for a cozy home where he can relax, feel safe, and enjoy all the little things that make life wonderful—soft beds, gentle attention, and being close to the people he loves. Cheddar may be a little more mature, but that just means he knows how special it is to have a loving home. He’s ready to leave shelter life behind and start his next chapter with someone who will cherish him for the wonderful cat he is.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 816. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday.Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 18 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
