Meet Ruby!Ruby is an adorable 6-month-old brown tabby with a playful personality, a loving heart, and plenty of kitten energy! She is a fun, curious little girl who loves to play, explore, and enjoy all the adventures that come with being a kitten. When playtime is over, Ruby is just as happy soaking up attention and affection from her people.Ruby has been diagnosed with a very mild case of megaesophagus, often called “Mega-E.” While the name may sound intimidating, Ruby is doing great and thriving! For her, management is fairly simple—her food and water dishes need to be elevated to help everything travel properly to her stomach.Her future family will simply need to continue this feeding routine and make sure she doesn't have access to food on the floor or from other pets' dishes. As with any medical condition, continued monitoring with a veterinarian is recommended, but Ruby isn't letting it slow her down!Ruby doesn't know she's any different from another kitten. She's too busy playing, exploring, being silly, and enjoying life!
