Meet Atlas Atlas is the perfect mix of playful, affectionate, and incredibly loving. He is the kind of cat who wants to be wherever his people are — following his foster around the house, asking for cuddles, and soaking up every bit of attention he can get. If you’re looking for a true companion cat, Atlas may be your perfect match. Atlas was originally adopted with his sister, Fluffy. Unfortunately, there were already two other cats in the home, and one of them began picking on Atlas and injuring him. Because of this, Atlas was returned to foster care while his sister remained in the adoptive home. He came back with a small cut from the experience, but it is completely healed, and Atlas hasn’t let any of it change his incredibly sweet personality. If anything, Atlas seems more determined than ever to be close to the people he loves. He is extremely affectionate and constantly seeks out human companionship. He loves being held, cuddling up close, and following his foster from room to room. Atlas thrives when he has someone nearby and would be happiest in a home where he can be an important part of the family. Atlas also absolutely loves other cats. He is currently living with four two-month-old foster kittens, and he genuinely enjoys being with them. He plays with them, hangs out with them, and seems very happy having feline companions around. He seems to have formed an especially sweet bond with Sugarplum, an adorable little all-gray boy kitten. There is something special about the way Atlas gravitates toward him, and the two seem to really enjoy each other’s company. Seeing Atlas with the younger kittens has shown just how gentle, social, and loving he can be with the right feline friends. Atlas is also used to being around a dog. Like any young cat, Atlas still has plenty of playful energy! He loves toys, zoomies, climbing, and exploring tall places, so a cat tree is definitely a must. He is currently doing great on a combination of wet and dry food. After everything Atlas has been through, what he wants most is simple: a safe home, lots of love, and companionship. He has so much affection to give and is ready to become someone’s devoted little shadow, cuddle buddy, and best friend. And if his forever home happens to include a friendly feline companion — perhaps even his little buddy Sugarplum — we think Atlas would be very happy indeed. ❤️ Part of adopting a kitten is recognizing that they are babies, and you will get to see firsthand how their wonderful natures develop! Prior to adoption, all kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 5 months old must be adopted with a buddy or into a house where there's a kitten-friendly pet. This kitten is currently in a foster home.
