BEAR IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OUTSIDE A 30 MINUTE RADIUS OF DES MOINES UNTIL AFTER OCTOBER 15 DUE TO HIS VETTING REQUIRMENT. Bear is a 10-week-old, male, possible Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix that weighs about 13 lbs. He will likely be a medium to large dog when full grown. Bear and his 6 siblings came from Oklahoma in mid-August. He is a sweet puppy that loves attention and loves to be held and snuggled. Bear loves toys and playing with his siblings. He has access to a kiddie pool and enjoys the occasional dip on a hot day. He is a wonderful mix of sweet and energetic. Bear would do well as a single dog or with another dog. He has not met cats or kids, but with proper introductions and guidance, he should do well with all.
