HARRIET IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION OUTSIDE A 30 MINUTE RADIUS OF DES MOINES UNTIL AFTER OCTOBER 15 DUE TO HER VETTING REQUIRMENT. Harriet is a 10-week-old, female, possible Border Collie/Australian Shepard mix that weighs about 10 lbs. Shee will likely be a medium to large dog when full grown. Harriet and her 6 siblings came from Oklahoma in mid-August. She is a sweet puppy that loves attention and loves to be held and snuggled. Harriet loves toys and playing with her siblings. She has access to a kiddie pool, and enjoys the occasional dip on a hot day. She is a wonderful mix of sweet and energetic. Harriet would do well as a single dog or with another dog. She has not met cats or kids, but with proper introductions and guidance, she should do well with all.
