What he needs isn’t more pressure — it’s clarity, structure, and someone who understands how to build trust the right way.Deputy struggles with fear around men, and he needs a handler who knows how to work through that thoughtfully, safely, and without forcing interactions.This is where the right person changes everything. Deputy• 5 years old, neutered Malinois• Medium–low energy, calm presence in the home• Lives well with other dogs and has been around livestock• Bonds deeply once he feels safe What he NEEDS:• Experienced handler or trainer mindset• Confident, structured environment• Slow, intentional introductions (especially with men)• Someone who understands that trust is earned — not rushedDeputy is not broken.He just hasn’t had the right guidance yet.***********************************************************************MAD Rescue is an official 501c3 foster based rescue organization and does not have a physical location. While our mailing address is in Michigan, the majority of our dogs are not located in the state of Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet in the title area.For transport, if you reside within 4 hours of the pet's fostered location, please be prepared to pick the pet up.
