Christie is a sweet, smart, and wonderfully well-rounded girl who is ready to find her forever home! Christie’s mom is a Lab mix, and based on Christie's adorable coloring, we suspect her dad may have been a Feist. Whatever her mix, Christie is a fantastic combination of intelligence, playfulness, and an easygoing personality. She is a smart girl who loves treats and toys, which should make training a lot of fun. She is eager to engage with her people and seems like the kind of dog who will pick up new skills quickly with positive reinforcement, patience, and plenty of treats! Christie loves to play with both people and other dogs. She has a playful spirit without being overwhelming. She knows how to have fun, but she also knows how to settle down and switch into relaxation mode when playtime is over. She is equally happy entertaining herself with a toy, making her a nice balance of fun and independent. Another wonderful quality? Christie isn't much of a barker at all. She is also housetrained and crate trained. While she doesn't particularly love being in her crate, she settles down nicely once she's in it.  Christie is the kind of dog who can keep you smiling with her playful personality, then happily curl up and relax when the day winds down. She's affectionate, social, intelligent, and adaptable — a wonderful combination for an active family, couple, or individual looking for a fun-loving companion.
