She came from rural TN and was bred every time she came into season but lucky for her a Good Samaritan saw her plight and stepped in to take her. The Good Samaritan was driven to save her but could not keep her so she reached out to us for help. This little girl is all sunshine and roses and she SMILES! If you talk sweetly to her, she’ll give you her sweet smile. You can see it in one of the pictures we took of her. She didn’t know how to play but she is learning and would be fine with another male or female around her age that is socialized. She craves attention because she never had any and she loves it. Sadly, she came to us with Heartworms so she will go through treatment for those and will not be available until the 28th of Nov. Just in time for the holidays.  But don’t let the HW’s scare you. She is light HW positive but she’ll be clear of them when she goes to her forever home. This will give you plenty of time to plan for her and shop for her for the holiday. Our must haves for her are: A fenced in yard Another brother or sister to learn to play with, young and small no big dogs Someone that can be home more than not Please not apartments, high rises or condo If you want years of devotions then you can’t go wrong with this little girl. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a dachshund’s back or get bitten.
