Reintroducing Freddy! ❤️Freddy was quite the character during his time at our shelter! His behavior could be a little on-and-off, and he was known for the occasional nibble or two. But underneath it all was a smart, playful boy who simply needed someone willing to understand him and work with him.Freddy had his own special team who worked with him every few days through treat training, teaching him to sit, stay, and wait. They also worked with him on getting into his cage/suite each evening using positive reinforcement. Freddy was on a special urinary diet and needed separate living quarters, although he would have much rather been out playing and interacting with the other cats!Three years ago, Freddy found a wonderful adopter who continued his training and helped him thrive in a home environment. ❤️ Unfortunately, over the last several months, his adopter has had to work long 12-hour shifts, leaving Freddy home alone for much of the day.Freddy is the type of cat who needs a little extra playtime, attention, and enrichment. With so much time alone, he has become lonely and is in need of a new situation where his social and playful personality can shine. Freddy would like a home with someone who's home a lot or with a cat companion!Freddy has come a long way, and we know there is someone out there who will appreciate this special boy for exactly who he is. ❤️ He needs someone patient, understanding, and willing to continue giving him the structure, training, playtime, and love he deserves.Freddy is currently in a foster home, where he is being loved and cared for while he waits for his next forever home.
