Jett hit the ground running — literally. This sweet little black boy with his white chest was found dashing under a dumpster on badly burnt paws, which is the kind of origin story that would slow most of us down permanently and which Jett has chosen to treat as a minor footnote in an otherwise very busy life. He has come so far, healed so beautifully, and emerged from the whole experience with his spirit completely intact and his priorities firmly established: play constantly, be near his person at all times, and master the art of fetching his favorite spring toy because yes, he is learning to bring it back and yes, it is as charming as it sounds.
