 Currently located at our Owensboro, KY location  Meet Rocky Mountain!Rocky Mountain came to us on June 22, 2026, with a painful limp. After X-rays, we learned this sweet boy needed an FHO (femoral head ostectomy).An FHO is a surgery where the damaged ball-shaped head of the femur is removed from the hip joint. This eliminates painful bone-on-bone contact and allows the body to form a comfortable “false joint,” giving the pet the chance to walk, play, and live pain-free.We are extremely grateful to Dr. Rexing for taking care of Rocky and giving him the second chance he deserved.Rocky is now fully vetted and ready to find his forever home! He is a 4.5-month-old male white-and-brown tabby and is said to do well with both dogs and cats.After everything this little guy has been through, he’s ready for the best chapter yet.
