Currently located at our Owensboro, KY location   Meet Floppy! Floppy is a sweet Chocolate Retriever mix, born in June 2024, and he’s ready to find a patient family who will help him come out of his shell. Floppy is fully vetted and currently in foster, we’re learning more about this gentle, timid boy. Good with other dogs Previous owner reported no to cats Small children seem to make him nervous. He is not aggressive, but he can be very unsure around little ones. (Ex: He wont come inside if the 3 year old is near the door.) He has done well being left loose in the living room during the day—as long as tempting chewable items are put away! He is a chewer and will counter-surf if food is left within reach. He does not do well in pop-up kennels and would likely need a sturdy plastic or more durable crate.Floppy is a very docile and timid dog who will need an adopter willing to give him time, patience, and reassurance. He may not be the dog who runs up and immediately asks for attention—but with the right person, we believe he can blossom into an amazing companion.
