Ryleigh is the perfect combination of sweetness, intelligence, and hilarious puppy energy. One minute she’s giving you soulful “old soul” eyes that seem to understand everything, and the next she’s tumbling around like the lovable goofball she truly is. With her rich brown eyes and extra-long ears that sometimes stand straight up like she’s trying to pick up satellite signals, it’s no surprise people compare her to a mini Scooby-Doo. Ryleigh’s story didn’t begin easily. She and her littermates were abandoned on the side of the road, but she’s turned that rough start into a beautiful comeback.  She’s incredibly affectionate and has the kind of gentle, comforting presence that makes everyone fall in love with her. Ryleigh loves cuddling just as much as she loves adventure. Outside, she becomes a tiny detective, happily exploring the backyard with her nose to the ground as if she’s solving life’s greatest mysteries. She also takes playtime very seriously and is always ready to wrestle with another dog or chase after a toy. Ryleigh is smart, eager to learn, and already off to an amazing start with training. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and knows sit/hold, lay down, recall, and off — though, like any puppy, she occasionally pretends not to hear you when something more exciting is happening. She loves kids, gets along well with other dogs, and is curious about cats in the most innocent “why won’t you play with me?” kind of way. Her favorite place to be is close to her people, whether that means squeezing under your legs while you sit or launching herself into your lap mid-movie for kisses and cuddles. Personal space simply isn’t part of Ryleigh’s vocabulary. Ryleigh is ready to fill her forever home with laughter, love, and endless affection.
