Description
Meet Clydesdale — “Clyde” for short! At just 8 months old, Clydesdale - affectionately known as Clyde - is already living up to his big name! This handsome Great Dane (possibly mixed breed) boy is a goofy, happy, cuddly pup who is happiest when he’s right by his human’s side. Clyde is basically a giant puppy with an even bigger heart. He LOVES his people, enjoys going for walks, and has decided that giving hugs is one of life’s greatest pleasures. If you’re looking for a dog who wants to be your best friend, your walking buddy, and your personal cuddle companion, Clyde might just be your guy! He’s already house trained and crate trained, and he’s doing well learning his leash skills. Like many young dogs, he’s still figuring out the world and building his confidence. Loud noises - especially vehicles - can make him nervous. He can be cautious in public, so his future family will need to be patient and willing to take him on positive, gradual outings to help him learn that the world isn’t so scary. He has done well with other dogs and so far has done well with calm cats. Because Clyde is going to be a BIG boy, he is looking for adopters with large-breed experience who understand the unique needs of growing Great Danes and who can provide him with plenty of appropriate exercise, training, structure, and of course lots of love.Clyde may be a little cautious about the world right now, but underneath it all is a sweet, affectionate, goofy puppy who just wants his person. Give him some time, patience, and guidance, and this big guy is sure to become an incredible companion. If you have room in your heart—and your home—for a big, goofy, hug-loving boy, Clyde would love to meet you!
