Bryar - Located in Georgia

Description

Meet Bryar, a young Malinois/GSD mix who has already experienced far more than any dog should.Bryar came to MAD as part of a cruelty confiscation case after he and his siblings were reportedly left locked in a closet for days in their own excrement. Despite that beginning, the dog who emerged from that situation is remarkably social, people-oriented and eager for connection.Bryar LOVES affection and has no problem demanding it. He's curious, sweet, and has recently developed an appreciation for chews and bones, which he now hoards like he's preparing for the Chewpocalypse. He absolutely adores his foster grandmum and will happily climb into bed with her for some one-on-one attention. He's also been wonderful with the resident dog, despite the fact that his foster brother isn't particularly interested in having a new best friend. Bryar has taken the less-than-warm welcome in stride. He's shown no aggression and no possessiveness over food or toys. He's still a young boy, so yes, there are some puppy antics. He's mouthy, occasionally gets into trouble with those teeth, and has had a few potty accidents. He's also not a fan of his crate. But consider the circumstances. He's medicated, bored out of his mind, and can't run, play, go for walks, or do much of anything. We'd probably be a little cranky too.We suspect Bryar is a medium-drive, medium-energy boy, although it's difficult to get an accurate read while he's recovering. His foster mom is looking forward to seeing what he's like when the cone comes off, the bandages are gone, and he can finally get back to normal activities. What we can tell you is that he's affectionate, curious, good with the resident dog, and remarkably sweet considering everything he's dealing with. All MAD dogs come with a Fi Collar and six month subscription. ***********************************************************************If you are interested in adopting this pet, please complete an application at this link:  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24689/generic. ***********************************************************************MAD is an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location.
