Sweet Potato - Located in FL

Description

Meet Sweet Potato, a 3–4-year-old, 55-lb pocket rocket located in Southwest Florida!Sweet Potato is an absolute snuggle bug who has never met a stranger. She loves everyone she meets and is always ready to hand out kisses, request belly rubs, or climb directly into your lap. She has moderate energy—happy to run and play, then settle in right beside (or on top of) her person. She is crate and potty trained, rides well in the car, and can be left unattended without being destructive.Sweet Potato currently lives with five other dogs and has made tremendous progress with resource guarding that she displayed when she first arrived as a stray. She is now able to coexist with the pack and their many toys, although she is still fed separately and occasionally needs a reminder that sharing is caring. No other pets? Fantastic! Sweet Potato would happily soak up all your attention. Have larger dogs? She can coexist with canine siblings, although she may select one lucky pup to cling to like a pesky gnat. Her play style can include grabbing legs and ears and relentlessly asking another dog to play, so a tolerant companion would be best. Her prey drive is currently unknown. She has not been tested with cats or small animals, although she does enjoy chasing the occasional butterfly.Sweet Potato is affectionate, goofy, people-oriented, and ready for a family to call her own. If you're looking for a compact best friend who takes snuggling very seriously, Sweet Potato may be your girl!
