Description
Gunnar came to us the way a lot of tough‑luck kittens do — carried into one of our volunteer’s homes because something just wasn’t right. He wasn’t walking normally, so straight to the vet he went. X‑rays showed the cause: a broken leg that had already begun healing on its own. Because of his tiny size and the stage of healing, the vet chose not to splint it, but he’s recovering safely and steadily in our care.Even with everything he’s been through, Gunnar is a little purr machine. He wants every bit of love you’re willing to give and will happily curl up against you like it’s his full‑time job. Once he’s fully healed, we’re sure he’ll be making up for lost time — all those saved‑up zoomies are going to come out at once, and it’s going to be a joy to watch.Gunnar isn’t ready for adoption just yet, but he’s healing beautifully. You can get your applications in now so once he’s fully recovered, he can head to his forever home a little faster.Adoption fee: $75 Apply today at www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt Adoption includes: spay/neuter, microchip, FVRCP vaccine(s), rabies vaccine, flea prevention, and deworming medication. If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application.
