Hi!  My name is Sunni and I am looking for a forever home.  I was picked up as a stray by Animal Control and taken to the local shelter where, after my hold time was up, I was I danger of being placed on something bad called "the list".  Fortunately for me, I came to the attention of BCAA who said they would help me and got me sprung from that place ... yeah!  I am about a year old and weigh just a little over 26lbs.   The best guess as to my breed mix is a "pomsky", part pomeranian due to my size and coloring, and part husky due to my looks and super outgoing and energetic personality.  I really enjoy getting attention, especially when treats are involved as I do love my treats, and I will give you lots of kisses.  I'm not a couch potato so an apartment probably wouldn't be best for me unless you are an avid daily hiker!  I have gotten along with the other dogs I've met but I like to play hard so I can be a little intimidating to some dogs.  I have started showing a little too much attention to the cats as they look like they would be fun to play with, so a home without them would probably be best.  I have done well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of my bedding and will go right in when asked, but I will let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear you as I would really prefer to be out with you.  I will pull some on my leash when we go out in my excitement of going on an adventure.  Due to a husky's love for wandering and exploring, a secured fenced yard would be great for me to run off some of my energy.  If you would like to meet me,  please fill out an application which can be found at http://www.bcaaofnj.org.
