Hi!  My name is Nikki and I am looking for a forever home.  I was picked up as a stray by Animal Control and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up, I was in danger of being placed on something bad called "the list".  Fortunately for me, BCAA heard about my plight and arranged for me to be sprung ... yeah!  I appear to be a doodle, but whatever I am, my foster mom says I'm a really pretty girl with a personality to match.  I'm about a year old and only weigh around 37lbs.  While I am a little shy when first meeting a new person, it doesn't take me long at all to figure out whether I can trust them and then I adore getting attention.  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I've met and I haven't paid much attention to the cats.  I've done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bedding; however, I would prefer to be out with you.   I'm pretty good on leash and enjoy just being with you and going on an adventure.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
