Hi!  My name is Keira and I am looking for a forever home.  I was an owner surrender to a really scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up, I was in danger of being placed on something bad called "the list".  Fortunately for me, BCAA heard about my plight and arranged for me to be sprung ... yeah!  I appear to be a doodle, am only about a year old, and I weigh around 45lbs but I'm a little on the skinny side so my foster mom is trying to put a little weight on me (I don't mind ... just means more treats and more at mealtime!).   When I first got into foster, the first thing BCAA had done was a groom 'cause my coat was in pretty rough shape and I had to have it all pretty much shaved off but boy, do I feel so much better! ... and I now I have gone from a shy girl into one who just wants to have fun as I love getting attention and treats from my foster parents & playing with my 4-legged friends .  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I've met and and so far I haven't paid much attention to the cats I've encountered.  I've done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of my bedding; however, I would prefer to be out with you.  I'm pretty good on leash and enjoy just being with you and going on adventures.  If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org
