Hi!  My name is Tanya and I am looking for a forever home.  I was picked up as a stray by Animal Control and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where, after my hold time was up, I was in danger of being placed on something bad called "the list".  Fortunately for me, BCAA heard about my plight and arranged for me to be sprung ... yeah!  I appear to be maybe some type of terrier mix, but whatever I am my foster mom says I'm a really pretty girl with a sweet personality to match.  I'm about a year old and weigh around 22lbs.  While I am a little shy when first meeting a new person, it doesn't take me long to figure out whether I can trust them and then I love getting attention.  I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I've met and am having bunches of fun playing with them; I haven't paid much attention to the cats that I've encountered.  I've done really well in my crate without any accidents or tearing up of my bedding; however, I would prefer to be out with you and may let you know not to forget about me if I see or hear you.  I'm pretty good on leash and enjoy just being out with you exploring and going on adventures.  If U would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
