Description
Name: Serena Gender: Spayed female Age: 18 months Breed: Siamese mix Location: In foster, apply at www.pawplacement.org Adoption includes: spay, up to date vaccines, microchip, felv/fiv negative Serena was found wandering in the neighborhood in July 2026 and was most likely dumped since she was already spayed. No microchip and no owner found after 2 weeks. She is a very gentle kitty and a bit shy when allowed to roam the house. She seems unsure exactly what to do and will seek you out for comfort and love. She does explore all the rooms and will jump on counters looking out windows and that makes me wonder if she still longs for the outdoors. It is unknown how long she was outside before we found her. I highly suggest that her adopter has a window perch or a catio with indoor/outdoor access. Serena is still learning to play with toys and since I do no know her history, it is possible she did not receive good human attention. She does like to chase strings (thicker drawstrings – think hoodie), loves plastic coil springs and those mesh tube toys. Serena does not strike or use her claws and has very soft paws. She does not bite and does not meow much except when you come in the door and she wants attention. She will sit on your lap for petting, biscuit making, and likes to stand on your lap with her front paws up on your shoulders. If you get on the floor with her, she is right there with you. Very sweet and calm cat and does not run around zoomie like. She likes to sleep on her back all stretched out. It is unknown at this point if she likes other cats, dogs or kids. So far, she does not get along with my other foster, but that female is super bossy and starts all the trouble. That other foster is leaving next week, so Serena’s confidence may increase. It’s always possible that she would accept another cat or animal in her space. She will have more time outside the cage enclosure once that other foster moves on. I can send an update later. Serena is a super soft dilute tortoise shell, long hair with the cutest ear and toe floofs. Estimated to be 1-2 years old and in great health. Tested negative for FIV and FELV. Serena does not care for any wet food I have tried, but has a great appetite for dry kibble and drinks plenty of water. I have been feeding her Purina Naturals dry. She also used the litterbox like a pro – no outside the box accidents at all
